About Alison

After graduating from the University of Findlay, Alison Turnbaugh moved to Ontario in 2001 and became a teacher in the Ontario school district for the next 15 years.

The Turnbaugh family has always had deep roots in the area. Her husband, Nick Turnbaugh, is a 1995 Ontario High School graduate, and all three of their children currently attend the district.

After her teaching career, Alison opened a local yoga studio, Evolve Studios. She ran a successful business from 2015 until 2019 which she sold prior to COVID, which caused a need for her to be home with her kids due to the schools shutting down.

Alison said obtaining her real estate license seemed to be the next perfect path.

“I can still be a mom and put my kids at the top of my priority list, and help a lot of people around town,” she said. “There’s just always been something about real estate. Nick and I have flipped three houses, searched for land, and owned three homes here locally. I love everything about looking at the character of homes. I love the flexibility of real estate as well as meeting and interacting with people and creating those relationships. I believe there is a perfect piece of real estate for everyone and I’m looking forward to helping people find that perfect piece to fit their needs!”

Her mother-in-law, Connie Turnbaugh, and her husband’s grandmother, Marie Turnbaugh, are also former, long-time Sluss agents, and Alison said she is looking forward to following in their successful footsteps.
